Solutions to Border and Immigration Issues
AJ: Solutions? In no particular order -----
1) Honor our UN commitment to treat refugees with compassion. That includes NOT treating them like criminals.
2) Welcome asylum seekers with open arms.
3) FEED asylum seekers.
4) Provide medical care and housing to asylum seekers.
5) Provide the court system to hear their asylum applications and to act fairly on them.
6) Stop wasting resources on phony "solutions" that only make matters worse (like a sea to sea border wall, for instance).
7) Convene the UN and FOCUS on addressing problems in central America that are causing refugees to flee for their lives.
8) Create a path to citizenship for Dreamers.
9) Stop separating babies and children from their families.
