A number of weeks ago, our priest in charge of youth confirmation asked the parents of the confirmands to write to the children a letter expressing their hopes and dreams; their faith life; their faith journey; etc. Last week at a very special candle-light service, we presented these sealed letters to the confirmands and watched as they opened the letters and privately read them.

Today, I challenged our students to write a letter to their parents, outlining things they think it's important for them to say to them. We broke them out into three small groups, and here is what they produced. Click on the image to see a full-size version.
