A More Sensitive War
Remember when the rightwingers mocked and ridiculed Kerry for declaring that he'd wage a more "sensitive" war on terror? From this New York Times editoral, it would seem that's exactly what the Bush administration had in mind in deciding on troop levels to insert into Iraq.

Bush Calls for a More 'Sensitive" Use of Power
Senator Kerry isn't the only one who believes the US should exert its power sensitively. So does George W. Bush.
"Precisely because America is powerful, we must be sensitive about expressing our power and influence. Our goal is to patiently build the momentum of freedom, not create resentment for America itself. We pursue our goals; we will listen to others; we want strong friends to join us, not weak neighbors to dominate."
