Social Psychological Perspectives on Trump Supporters

Abstract



No one factor describes Trump’s supporters. But an array of factors – many of them reflecting five major social psychological phenomena can help to account for this extraordinary political event: authoritarianism, social dominance orientation, prejudice, relative deprivation, and intergroup contact. Research on the topic demonstrates that these theories and concepts of social psychology prove centrally important in helping to understand this unexpected event. This paper describes the supporting data for this statement and demonstrates the close parallels between these American results and those of research on far-right European supporters.

Manhattan DA Drills Down on Trump Finances

The drive obtained by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office reportedly is being stored in a radio-frequency-isolation chamber to protect it from remote tampering - presumably from Kremlin agents who might have an interest in destroying the evidence. This is extraordinary stuff.

"The hard drive—which includes potentially revealing notes showing how
Trump and his accountants arrived at their tax numbers—is believed to be
locked in a high-security annex in lower Manhattan. A spokesman for the
Manhattan District Attorney’s office declined to confirm the drive’s
whereabouts, but people familiar with the office presume that it has
been secured in a radio-frequency-isolation chamber in the Louis J.

Crimes in Broad Daylight!

We're barely scratching the surface. We know about SOME of the crimes they committed; but we've only seen the stuff that is readily observable.



For instance, we SAW Trump on TV telling Russia to hack Hillary's emails; then we SAW the Mueller indictment which spelled out that the hacking attempt began ON THAT VERY DAY.



We SAW Trump admit on national TV that he fired Comey to stop the Russia invesgigation.



We SAW Jr's email saying he LOVED the Russians offering the campaign stolen emails.



We SAW the letter Trump's lawyers wrote ADMITTING Trump fabricated the cover story for the Tower meeting with Jr, Kushner, and Manafort.



We HEARD the tape of Trump plotting with Cohen to commit felony campaign finance violations.



We READ the agreement between AMI and the SDNY in which they ADMIT conspiring with Trump to commit felonies.....



We KNOW  the federal judge made it a point to place in the public record that Trump's campaign people met with the known Russia intelligence linked operative; passed secrets to him; then secretly sneaked out by way of separate exits.



And the list goes on.



We haven't even dug below the surface yet.

Trump: Caught on tape admitting to serial sexual assault.

The list goes on.

Sometimes I get the feeling that these US attys, special counsel attorneys and State AG's maybe huddle up and say, ''Let's psy-op the sleazy bastard. How about we give immunity to a big shot in his criminal enterprise and see what self-incriminating statements we can prompt Trump into uttering in anger.''

Did Rudy REALLY say Trump ''funneled'' the money? Yes, he did! And that sends RED FLAGS up in the law enforcement community! And it also brings to mind human trafficking, and drug smuggling.

He tried to fire Mueller, and pressured the WH Legal Counsel to LIE about it.



He crafted a LIE to cover up Junior's conspiracy meeting with Kremlin operatives.



He STOLE from charity.



He ILLEGALLY solicited campaign contributions from foreign nationals.



He put a FOREIGN AGENT in charge of our national security.



He defrauded students at his fake "university."



And that's just the short list.

What Crimes Has Trump Committed?

Some of you see no problems with Trump's behavior because you are racists who supports his white nationalist proclivities.


But he has some legal problems which derive DIRECTLY from his apparent crimes:



He invited Russia to hack Hillary's emails.



He crafted a cover up for his son's conspiracy with Russian operatives at Trump Tower.



When Trump and his team sat down to compose a LIE to cover up Junior's
conspiracy meeting with the Russians, THAT itself was a criminal
conspiracy. 



He obstructed justice by trying to force Comey to drop the prosecution of a foreign agent Trump had appointed as NSA.



He obstructed justice by firing Comey in order to (by his own admission) stop the Russia investigation.


He most likely violated campaign finance laws by accepting illegal contributions from Russia; and by structuring illegal pay outs to blackmailers.
