Rudy Says Cohen Did No Work for Trump

"That outline looks like this: Trump paid Cohen a retainer of $35,000 a month (Post interview) despite Cohen’s “doing no work for the president” (“Hannity” on Wednesday night). In total, Cohen was paid at least $460,000 from Trump’s “personal family account” (Times).
Although Giuliani told the Times that the payments began after the 2016
election, he  told The Post’s Robert Costa that Cohen possibly used
some of Trump’s money beforehand, as well." - Philip Bump - Washington Post - May, 2018

"Having something to do with paying some Stormy Daniels woman $130,000? Which, I mean, is going to turn out to be perfectly legal. That money was not campaign money . . . They funneled [it]  through a law firm, and the president repaid it . . .When I heard of Cohen’s retainer for $130,000, he was doing no work for the president." - Rudy Giuliani to Sean Hannity - May, 2018

Giuliani added, "Well, that’s how he’s repaying it, with a little profit and a little margin for paying taxes for Michael."
