Paragraph 35 of the Stone indictment makes it clear Stone was working on behalf of the Trump campaign. Mueller spells out that there were “multiple individuals involved in the Trump Campaign” who were in repeated contact with Stone, seeking a heads-up on what Wikileaks planned to publish next.
Or as Professor Eliason writes regarding Paragraph 12 of the indictment: ''And in a much-noted use of the passive voice, the indictment alleges “a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact” Stone to find out what other damaging information about Clinton might be coming. This raises the enticing question of whether the person doing that directing was the president himself, a question that Sanders refused to answer Friday.''
Think about that. The White House spokeswoman DECLINED to say if it was Trump who gave that order; leading some to conclude it most likely WAS ordered by Trump.
