Why The Hypocrisy?

Veritas: ''Doss, why do you think a person would repeatedly condemn and engage in the same behavior?''They don't THINK things through carefully, or they'd NOT so obviously violate their own standards.

Then, there are some who simply HAVE no real standards; they only PRETEND to have standards when it suits them. They don't feel ONE BIT embarrassed by their own hypocrisy.

The ones who engage in the conduct you describe are almost invariably right wingers. That leads some to wonder if maybe there is simply something ''wrong'' with them.

You know.... like faulty ''wiring,'' mental illness, some sort of pathology that allows them to have no real integrity and not give a damn who knows it.
