They can't bring themselves to say whether Rudy lied about his remarks being ''horrible.''
If they ADMIT that his comments were ''horrible'' as he admitted, then they
are also admitting that the outrage directed at Rudy is perfectly
righteous.
BUT --- If they say Rudy's remarks were NOT horrible, then they're saying he lied.
Either way, they are fucked, and they know it.
It seems a perpetual state for many of them.
