Palerider Any statements from the St. Louis Rams of ''free speech'' is imho simply a
means to deflect potential fan disagreement with their decision that the
player's statements were accessible under their view of the rules. It's a
cop out.

Palerider Maggie 4 Rams players came out for a game with the ''hands up'' thing in the
context of solidarity with the Ferguson protesters. This spawned a lot of
criticism and calls from fans to the Rams org and the league to
''discipline'' them. The league just said no, they'd not, but the Rams said
they'd not interfere with their ''1st Amendment rights'' imho that was a
cop out since they don't have that in that relationship. re
