The fact is that Kerry got his three Purple Hearts in three separate months. No one can seriously believe that I know this and Dole doesn't. By the way, it was sort of hypocritical of Dole to criticize Kerry for only spending four months in Nam - considering that Dole himself was only in combat for 7 weeks. Further, Dole didn't tell Blitzer that one of his Purple Hearts was for a minor self-inflicted wound.
