How They Try to Con Us

A recent news release by Rasmussen tells us in its headline: "Democratic Presidential Candidates Have No Advantage Over GOP Hopefuls on Iraq, the Economy, or Restoring the Nation’s Optimism."

But later, let's look at each of the the three points: Iraq, the economy, and optimism for the US. What does Rasmussen REALLY find and report? The article says this:

1st, on Iraq: "When it comes to resolving the situation in Iraq, 42% of the nation’s voters say they are most likely to trust one of the leading Democratic Presidential candidates while 41% name a Republican candidate." Advantage - Democrats

2nd, the Economy: "As for the economy, 44% say they’re most likely to trust one of the Democratic candidates while 43% opt for a Republican." - Advantage - Democrats

3rd - Restoring the Nation's Optimism: "The Democrats enjoy a very modest three-point advantage on the question of restoring the nation’s optimism." - Advantage - Democrats

Odd, eh? The headline tells us the Democrats don't enjoy an advantage, but then the facts tell us they DO.
