Trump's "MBA"?

Trump has allowed rumors to persist that he was the "top" student in his class at Wharton.  But the truth, of course, is a different matter:

An "examination of Trump’s own academic record yields a distinctly
unflattering picture of the celebrity businessman. Among other things,
Trump has allowed the media to report for years that he graduated first
in his class at Wharton, despite strong evidence that this is not true
and indications that he was, in fact, an undistinguished student.

Trump
did not go to Wharton’s prestigious MBA program. Rather, he received an
undergraduate degree offered by Wharton to University of Pennsylvania
students. And Trump didn’t attend Wharton for a full four years.
Instead, he transferred there after spending his first two undergraduate
years at Fordham, the Jesuit university in the Bronx."

Trump and Housing Discrimination

The Trump
surrogates are out this morning trying to sell the story that Donald
Trump wasn’t involved in that infamous housing discrimination suit in
the 1970s. “No, that wasn’t Donald; that was his daddy,” they’re
screaming.

Wrong, it was Donald AND his daddy. Read about it here in the NYTIMES.

Major Landlord Accused of Antiblack Bias in City,”
the headline stated. The Department of Justice had brought suit in
federal court in Brooklyn against Mr. Trump and his father, Fred C.
Trump, charging them with violating the Fair Housing Act of 1968 in the
operation of 39 buildings.

“The government contended that Trump
Management had refused to rent or negotiate rentals ‘because of race and
color,’ ” The Times reported. “It also charged that the company had
required different rental terms and conditions because of race and that
it had misrepresented to blacks that apartments were not available.”

So, there you have it. Enough of this tomfoolery. We’re on the case.
