Smear Debunked

We TOLD you guys the minute we saw the NYTIMES report that the story was ''fishy.''

Within minutes other reporters were looking at the Times smear and finding a HUGE problem.

Why did the Times refer to the regulations they hint Clinton violated
as ''new'' and not by something more specific like, ''regulations
implemented on [thus and such specific date]?''

Reporters recognized the ploy for what it is --- the Times withheld the date of the implementation of the regs for a reason.

Turns out -- the reason the Times didn't tell you about the date is
that the regs didn't become effective until AFTER Clinton left the State
Dept.

The Times' hit piece smelled fishy right away; was dying before the late edition hit the all-night news stands; and certainly smelled to high heaven and was certifiably dead before the morning edition hit the door steps, streets, and news stands - one of the quickest debunkings of a rightwinger smear in modern history.
