Tina: The problem I have with it is that it is the government mandating the kids do something that parents should be having them do anyways. There never any censure or anything on the parents. I've read weepy articles this winter about ''kids go without meals on snow days''. For real?! Take those kids out of those homes!
Intrepid's complaint is that the community service work is work that the children should be doing ANYWAY --- so --- he's against them doing it.
